1. they both liked to help children.

2. his early life was not a good one he always had problems with his mum and dad and he took his ehaviour to school and wasnt the best child at school it influenced him to give children a better life e.g reading books. he also got influenced to write a book and read lots just by reading one book.

2)What did you think of the story?
I thought that it was a good story I just wish I learnt more about everything that happened.

3) What would children learn from this story?
I think that they will learn teamwork and how to work together no matter what the task is and why the land they are living on is here/there, don't doubt yourself and trust other people they might have some really good ideas even if there risky.

It was a good story I liked learning about what maui did.

Because its good learning about the maori past and Aotearoa.
